Das goldene Märzen: Vollmundig, kräftig, malzig! Feine Karamellnoten und angenehm-milde Hopfenbittere! Ein wahres Genusserlebnis!
This golden yellow Märzen beer, a jewel of Bavarian brewing, combines an exceptionally fine scent with a light, fruity flavor. Full-bodied and spicy at the same time, the malt is emphasized from first sip to the finish.

Bottled. Clear copper color, short head. Aroma of caramel malt, some faint grassy german hop. Quite sweet caramelly taste, bit sticky. Nothing spectacular.

Big offwhite lasting head. Light amber body with light carbonation. Light roasty caramel aroma, quite faint. Dry sweetish lightly roasted caramel taste with rubbery notes. Dry, watery, grainy aftertaste. A bit dry and harsh, and chalky. Not too impressive. (0.5l bottle.)

Bottle: Deep golden to light amber coloured; deep sweet-malty nose (nutty, bready) with a tinge of honey; sweet malty start, becoming dryer soon; big malty flavour; shorter bitter-sweet finish, quite dry. A nicely rounded, very tasty Vienna !

Bottle. Grainy malt aroma - lightly sweet. Amber color with minute head. Rather weak flavor - mildly sour malt intially with sweetness coming out in the middle and the merest hint of hops at the end. A good Vienna but nothing to set it apart.
