Das goldene Märzen: Vollmundig, kräftig, malzig! Feine Karamellnoten und angenehm-milde Hopfenbittere! Ein wahres Genusserlebnis!
This golden yellow Märzen beer, a jewel of Bavarian brewing, combines an exceptionally fine scent with a light, fruity flavor. Full-bodied and spicy at the same time, the malt is emphasized from first sip to the finish.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a nice white head leaving lacings. Quite grainy on the nose, but for once in a pleasant way. Caramel too, but the aroma is a bit one-dimentional. Grainy and malty flavor with some caramel and some fruityness. Low on bitterness. Medium body and a finish with grains and caramel. A nice and refreshing beer, but too grainy and one-dimentional. Pour is a clear amber with an average white head. Aroma is sweet but very faint malts. Flavor is is again pretty light with some caramel malts and nothing else. This is very weak and watery and not worth the time.

Draught at Kleine Bierstube, Århus
Golden color; creamy head. Aroma of breadcrumbs and cereals. Simple flavor, with some malt, rather dry. Ordinary bitterness. Uninteresting.

On tap in the Klosterschenke 21 Jun 07. Dark brown coloured. A fluffy white head. Sweet fruity aroma with a soft sweet flavor. Roasted malty aftertaste with a sweet, fruity finish. A bit too carbonated.

The bottle looks very normal. The aroma is very exotic, but the flavour is very delicious. Good and very drinkable beer.

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 5.5. Deep golden colour, large head. Nice aroma for a golden lager: fruity and floral hops with moderate malts. The flavour is fairly malty and well rounded, some sweetness, balanced by moderate hops. Soft mouthfeel. A decent lager, well above average.

50 cL bottle. Pours deep golden yellow, clear, with a white semi dense head. Sweet malty aroma with a hint of fruit. Flavour is soft malty, with notes of caramel malt - but not dominantly. Ends soft malty with a mild bitterness. Nicely balanced.
