Das goldene Märzen: Vollmundig, kräftig, malzig! Feine Karamellnoten und angenehm-milde Hopfenbittere! Ein wahres Genusserlebnis!

This golden yellow Märzen beer, a jewel of Bavarian brewing, combines an exceptionally fine scent with a light, fruity flavor. Full-bodied and spicy at the same time, the malt is emphasized from first sip to the finish.

500 ml bottle. Pours clear dark golden almost amber coloured with big fluffy head. Hay, straw, orange cest, lemon, grain, metal, spicy hops. Medium dry metallic bitterness, some malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonated, sticky texture, dry metallic finish, very palatable, refreshing and easy going. Complex and delicious amber lager.

Pours very clear, light amber. medium sized, creamy white head with above average stability. Smell is nice, creamy, ambermalty, medium bitterness ( hoppy, spiced character ) . overall medium intensity. Taste is tad bitter ( mild spicy aroma from the hops ) Malty ( ambermalty, but also some white bread mixed in. not very toast-forward ) clean fermenation profile. perhaps some very minor DMS notes, but not more than is suitable for the style. Mild sweetness by the malts. overall, pretty balanced lager, easy drinkin, clean, and well made.

Bottle. Golden-yellow color with white head. Aroma is bready, malty, just a touch of caramel. Taste is again a touch of caramel, a bit flowery, all low intensity. Low carbonation, oily mouthfeel with a little bit of a chewiness. Highly drinkable, but doesn’t have much character.
