Das goldene Märzen: Vollmundig, kräftig, malzig! Feine Karamellnoten und angenehm-milde Hopfenbittere! Ein wahres Genusserlebnis!

This golden yellow Märzen beer, a jewel of Bavarian brewing, combines an exceptionally fine scent with a light, fruity flavor. Full-bodied and spicy at the same time, the malt is emphasized from first sip to the finish.

Donker geel bier met schuim. Smaak is iets krachtiger dan de gewone Weltenburger, iets bitterder en heeft ook iets van gebrande caramel. Smaak is goed.

0,5 l bottle. A clear amber in the glass, fine head. Starts dry malty, not really sweet. Bready, caramell citrus hints in the background, mid spicy. Easy to drink, but Lager ist still not my favourite style.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig fruchtig, Karamell. Geschmack leicht röstmalzig, Karamell, fruchtig.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast with sparse malty touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with rich, sweetish notes of malt and yeast. Bitter and slightly skunky finish. Drinkable but nothing really impressive.

Flaske på terrassen i Marbella: i likhet med deres hefe-weisse har denne et cremeskum som varer. Fruktig men lett aroma, og smaken er ogsåni den lette enden av skalen. Kan ikke måle seg med hveteølen deres.

0.5l bottle. Clear dark copper body, white head. Metallic bready aroma and taste. The finish is dry and hoppy, the body is light. It’s not going to be my favourite beer from this brewery.

Head: off-white, medium, frothy, avg. retention. Colour: dark amber, clear.

Aroma: caramel, malt, bread, lightly roasted, maybe even some hops.

Taste: toffee/caramel, roasted, light peppery bitterness.

What one would expect from a standard vienna/amber lager.

Clear copper with a fluffy head/lace - nose of light honey, light dough, moderate mineral, some floral hop notes - soft carbonation, nice texture - moderately sweet, but with a mild balancing acidity - some toasty grain, honey, light esters - moderate floral hops - light mineral dryness in the finish - would like a little more overall crispness to this, but this is clean and tasty.

Nice sharp taste in this one. Pours dark golden with light, airy head. Aroma is hopsand malt. Taste sweet and bitter, with abrupt finish.A good one, but from Weltenburger, I expected nothing less.
