Das goldene Märzen: Vollmundig, kräftig, malzig! Feine Karamellnoten und angenehm-milde Hopfenbittere! Ein wahres Genusserlebnis!

This golden yellow Märzen beer, a jewel of Bavarian brewing, combines an exceptionally fine scent with a light, fruity flavor. Full-bodied and spicy at the same time, the malt is emphasized from first sip to the finish.

dobre piwo. Choć na wiedeński styl nie wygląda mi to. Bardziej bym je przypisał do oktoberfest marzen. Piana spora, słodowy smak lecz chmiel dusi tę słodycz i trochę ją na finiszu przytłacza. świetnie piwo pasuje do bawarskich białych kiełbasek

500ml bottle. Clear dark golden to amber colour with average, firm, frothy, white head. Grassy hop aroma with grainy notes, a toasty touch. Taste is initially slightly floral and grassy hoppy, pointing toward a metallic touch, some grainy notes, later a caramel malty basis with bread and toasty notes shines through. Could be characterised as bottom-fermented Bitter in a way.

From BA: where it was classed as an O’fest style Beer. Brown 0.5 litre bottle, BBD is smudged so not sure if the beer was in date or not when drank in Jan 2009.. Poured into a pint pot (glass). Dull, deep old gold colour, typical of an O’fest bier. Good white foaming head sat on top. Cut grass is the first aroma followed by bad Body Odour, then I wanted to smell hops, yeast and malts. Sadly I didn’t although a none discript beery aroma did appear. This beer (according to the label) won some accolade at the Beer world Cup in San Diego 2008. whoever voted for it has different taste buds to me. The richness I remember from O’fest biers and the depth of flavours were not present in this version. A weak attempt of the style in my opinion. Dry and bland throughout.

Bottle picked up at Beertopia Omaha, opened in Exira, Iowa. Clear, dark orange appearance with a big white head. Grainy, husky, light corn crib, light cobweb, hay aroma. Fuck this reminds me of my grandparent’s, farm five clicks away. Crisp grainy, fairly fruity, a bit dry, grainy flavor. Pretty easy to drink but there’s a bit of awkwardness between the grainy, straw elements and the fruit elements. Tried again in the bottle in Germany. A bit better this time around but nothing special.

a very good looking beer, light gold, and a thick white head. sadly very light and mild flavors and aromas, malt with lager yeast. no flaws, but it does not have much fto offer. it cant stand up to the best central European Viennas.

Clear amber with a cream head. Aroma of toasted caramel, light bread, nuts, mild spices. Taste has grainy sweetness with some nuts, more spices than suggested by the aroma. Dries out a little at the modestly bitter finish. Fairly lightbodied and a rather uninvolving palate for 5.5%. Not my sort of thing.

50cl bottle. Dark golden beer with a good formation of white head, moderate persistence. Aroma is malty and slightly sweet. Flavour is heavy malty, dense on palate, bready, with a final very slightly bittery. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium. Texture is oily.

[10/4/11] Draught at Ølbaren in Copenhagen. Clear deep golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma of somewhat grainy malt. Sweetish flavor with some somewhat grainy malt and a slightly drier finish. Rather light-bodied.
