Very pale yellow color, good white head. Metallic nose has herbal hoppyness. Light-bodied even for this ABV, active carbonation. Front has some honeyish sweetness, light grass but low bitterness. Very watery. Bulky. I wonder if they have changed recipe or brewery, can’t believe top raters’ numbers with this one.

Bottle from Tengleman, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, Tues 29th May 2012 consumed at Garmisch Zugspitz campsite in Frank the camper the same day. Chiemgauer Brauhaus Chiemseer Hell 4.8% (see page 215 GBG Germany. The Auerbrau brewery shares same address). Pours light gold with off-white head excellent clarity and not overly carbonated, it is quite soft in the mouth. Some gentle sweetness and a light vanilla and cereal flavour. You know what you are geeting from the off but not bad at all. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Bottle. Pale gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma is dusty hop. Flavour is grainy malt with a dry light metallic finish.

Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw and a bit of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, eggs, and straw, leading to bitter finish. Thanks pinball for sharing.
