Bottle. Piwo ma srednia piane, opada szybko, zlocista niemal slomkowo-jaskrawa barwa. W zapachu typowy lager, w smaku slodkawe, nieco zbozowe, malo chmielne, takie lagerowe, bez polotu bez zaskoczenia.

Bottle 50cl. @home poured into a shaker. Clear pale golden colour, good frothy white head, lasts for a while, light lacing. Aroma pilsner malt, grain, grass. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grainy, bit metallic. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, cardboard notes, watery feel, decent helles.

Bottle, Fristo, Isny. Clear, very pale yellow, large foamy white head, ok lasting. Mild grassy nose, dusty. Medium sweet, malty. Hints of bitterness. Stale body, light. Not that nice, tbh.

Bottle from The Curious Hop, Otley. Pours an almost clear light golden colour with a large thick fluffy white head. Aromas of grains, malts, hay, straw, grass. Taste is malty, grainy with added hints of honey. Fairly light bodied with a nice soft buttery mouthfeel. it’s a nice quality tasting lager. Very quaffable.

Gyllengul klar vätska med tunt vitt skum. Vitt bröd i arom. Bröd och lite fruktig sötma. Lite väl söt för min smak.

Seit dem es das Tegernseer Hell überall zum Kaufen gibt, tauchte kurz danach plötzlich auch das Chiemsser Hell in den Geschäften auf. Hauptsache irgend ein bayrischer See, dicke Euroflasche und viel von der weiß-blauen Bayernraute auf dem Etikett. Wer schaut da schon so genau. Dass, das Bier gar nicht vom Chiemsee kommt war auch einem Gericht suspekt und führte zu größeren Erklärungen auf dem Etikett. Man riecht eine leichte Honignote. Man schmeckt zuerst florale Nuancen, Im Mittelteil dann Getreide und etwas Malz. Über allem schwebt eine bittere Note - die allerdings etwas braucht sich zu entwickeln, empfand ich zunächst erst recht gallig. Eher auf der süffigen Seite, knapp vor wässrig (was von den eher schwachen 4,8 % Alk unterstrichen wird). Fand ich erst nicht schlecht, aber nach dem halben Glas wird das ganze recht muffig. Gibt bessere Helle - egal ob die Brauerei jetzt an einem See liegt oder nicht.

0.5 l bottle from 'REWE' (Wyk auf Föhr), best before December 2020. Clear, pale golden with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately grassy-spicy and a bit floral aroma of grains, some straw and hints of lemon peel. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently grassy-spicy and a little floral taste of grains, some straw, hints of lemon peel and traces of vanilla, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and maybe minimally metallic finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant Helles, goes down quickly.
