Bottle: Deep golden to light amber coloured, smaller, but stable lacy white foamy layer; toast-malty and hoppy nose with a discreet fruitiness in the background; solid bitter-sweet flavour, soft MF, medium bodied; moderate sweet-bitter finish. A well drinkable, pleasant brew.........

(bottle, purchased at the brewery) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet cara-malty, toasty and slightly fruity nose with a tinge of honey. Balanced sweetness - bitterness ratio, almost medium bodied with a soft carbonation and a slightly chalky mouthfeel. Caramel-malty and very subtle fruity taste; medium-dry, slightly toasty, caramelly finish with a moderate length. Solid Festbier (13.02.08).
