Flaska från Mikkeller. Klar mahognyfärgad med smutsvit/ljusbeige krona. Toner av en typisk brittisk barley wine med kola, knäck, övermogna äpplen, torkad frukt, kakighet, lite kletig sötma. Stor kropp, lite kladdig. Tjusigt nötig och knäckig. Gott!

Tap at Half Barrel and a half pour. Decent amber. Sweet toffee nose. Tastes of vanilla, toffee, light fruit. Could use some malt and hops. But a sweet little boozy concoction.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Tosa, opened 8/4/18. Hazy red orange and the head has already faded. Aroma of toffee, caramel, lemon. Taste is vanilla. toffee, maple, tea, citrus, hints of oak and strawberry. Medium bodied, a bit hot but booze well integrated, seems young and brash and could stand some aging. Overall quite nice.

On tap at Craft Conundrum, pours a clear caramel / chestnut brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out caramel, toffee and bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with brown sugar, toffee and caramel. Much more of an English barley wine, with the low amount of hops. Very nice.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a gold hue and a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains and caramel with bread and a hint of vanilla underlying. Flavor has sweet grains and toffee with caramel and vanilla backing.
