Bottled 500ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Deep amber/brown coloured, medium sized beige head, caramel and mild nutty nose. Toasted malt, caramel, light nutty and bready with dry sweetish finish.

Bottle shared by Caesar. Beers are from our holiday from last August so a bit old but still decent I hope. Nice clear dark amber color, full sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightly caramelized sugars, sweetish, caramel. Medium body and soft carbonation. Very well done, very nice.

Staffelberg-Bräu Loffelder Dunkel, Flasche von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Dunkles Kupferrotbraun, klar. - In der Nase tiefes, etwas sprödes dunkles Malz mit Landkaffee, Mokka und Brotkruste, zart rauchig. - Antrunk weich dunkelmalzig mit tiefer dunkler Malzigkeit, Kakao, elegant moosiger Herbe, feiner Zitrusfrucht und zarter Karamelnote. Milder rezent, vollmundig, weich. Im Abgang fein malzbitter mit dezenter herbaler Hopfenherbe. - Hintergründig dunkelmalzig, eigenwillig gehopft, weich und vollmundig: ein ausgezeichnetes Dunkles. Orange brown color, small frothy head. Caramel aroma cabbage and barnyard smell. Sweet flavor with caramel, chichorei and a velvety edge. A bit skunky aftertaste. Not entirely succeeded dunkel. (2.2) Re-rate august 2011. Tap @ Hotel zum Löwen Schwabthal. Carame;aroma. Maltflavor. Sweetish with milk chocolate, toffee. Sticky mouthfeel. A bit too sweet. 6 3 6 2 11 = 2.8 Re-rate july 2019 Tap @ brewery. Caramel in the aroma. Malty bready flavor with chocolate, caramel and a hint of roast. Quite drinkable, full bodied.
