Pours brown from the bottle. Frothy off white head that fades. Aroma is caramel, tea, mineral water. Taste is mostly sweet with artificial cherry notes that come up at the finish. A metallic tinge lingers afterwards. Body is medium and a somewhat prickly carbonation accentuates the cherry pop flavor. Overall pretty nasty stuff. Even the less discriminating drinkers in the family wanted no part of it.

Clear brown/copper with little white head. Aroma is some smoke, cherry pips, fruchtgummi, chalk, corn. Taste is quite sour, with a malty chalky sweetness. Not so great. Abrupt finish, not very heavy. Too few of everything.

Bottle. Reddish-dark amber color with tan head. Aroma is chocolate, some breadcrust. Taste is chocolate, breadcrust again, quite delicate. Oily mouthfeel. Quite light, but nice.

500ml Bottle - Copper in colour. Sultanas, caramel, rye bread and nuts in the aroma. Fruity and malty taste with sultanas, raisins and caramel standing out.

Bottled (backlog). Copper colour with a mediumsized creamy off-white head which leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet caramel malts, some nuts, toffee and mild toasted notes. Flavour is very similar, with some slight chocolaty notes as well. Tasty and refreshing.

In der Nase malzig, im Trunk Karamell, sehr süffig, gute Drinkability. Hintenweg etwas matt, dann aber nochmals kurz süß. Lecker.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein rötlich-braunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Karamell. Geschmack angenehm röstmalzig, würzig, trocken.
