Fläschla: Clear, deep golden, small persistent white head with a little lace; moderate toasty-malty nose with some mild, but distinctive herbal-hoppy spots; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, soft and nearly medium-bodied; drier bitter-toasty finish. One of the better Huppendorfer brews...

(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Biscuity malty aroma with notes of caramel, also slightly citric accents, draff and a whiff of herbal hops far in the background. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, surprisingly light bodied for an Export, calm carbonation. Slim malty start with hints of biscuits, caramel and fruity accents; dry-ish cara-malty sweet-bitter finish. Finally not bad. 09.VII.17
