Unsere fränkische Antwort auf ein englisches Stout.
Im Glas zeigt sich feinporiger, cremefarbener Schaum auf tiefschwarzem, obergärigen Bier. Feine Röstnoten nach Kaffee und Dörrzwetschgen lassen auf das schließen, was im Geschmack folgt: Dunkle Schokolade, und getrocknete Rosinen eingebettet in einen schlanken Körper mit angenehmer Bittere. Die Aromen der Karamell-, Röst- und Spezialmalze stehen im Vordergrund, das cremige Mundgefühl setzt dem Weiherer Schwärzla die Krone auf.

Bottle. Darkest brown color with tan head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, earthy. Taste is chocolate, lacto, earthy, a bit roasted coffee. Medium carbonation, dry mouthfeel. Very nice!

Black with little brown head. Aroma is harsh roasted malt, some slight fruits. Taste is complex bitter roast. Not very smooth and a tad watery but not bad.

(bottle) Dark brown colour with a beige and firm medium-sized foamy head. Slightly roasted malty aroma with notes of chocolate, marzipan and herbal hoppy spice. Moderately sweet flavour, rather light bodied with a creamy carbonation. Mildly roasted malty base with notes of dark and milk chocolate, wet leather, marzipan and a subtle fruity touch, getting slightly tart towards the mildly sweet and delicately bitter finish. 29.VII.17

Das kleine Schwarze von Weiherer? Keine Zeit fürs Vorspiel, das schaut mit seinem braunen Schokischaum einfach zu geil aus - ausgebaggd und noogezülld! Süffig, süß, Kaffee, bitter, holzig. Keine Spur alkoholisch, fast zu leicht für ein Schwarzes, aber dünner Stoff weiß am späten Abend erst recht zu gefallen. Höchstes Lob vom Franken: Bassd scho.

Süffiger, eher trocken malziger Antrunk. Röstig-hopfig, geringe Bitterkeit. Süffige Noten von Schokolade, dabei aber trocken und nicht cremig. Süffig, ledrig, minimale Säure. Durchweg trocken, dennoch ausgewogen und für 5% - und deutsch - gut gelungen. 9/10/10/9/10/9

Fläschla (@Kundmüller, Weiher): Deep chestnut-amber coloured, presumably hazy, bigger creamy off-white head, that slowly collapses; mild to moderate toasty-ashy nose with caramel, chocolate and a tinge of vanilla and a certain fruitiness underneath; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, accompanied by a low acidity, medium bodied and very soft; lingering sweetish-sourish finish with a mild bitter twist. Not an aroma bomb, but devilishly well drinkable...

Near black with a large beige head. Aroma had roasted malt with hints of coffee. Flavor had a nice roasted touch with accents of coffee and dark bitter chocolate. High drinkability and just right. Lovely.
