Bottle: Light to full amber coloured, quickly diminishing mid-sized off-white head; moderate aroma: dried fruit and caramel, a bit vinous; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, rather light bodied for a brew of 6.9% ABV; fruity-malty finish with an illusion of cacao and bitterness. A not really impressive Bock........

(bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a small light-beige foamy head. Sweet toast-malty aroma, slightly fruity with a tinge of caramel. Sweet, strong malty, toasty taste with light notes of caramel, medium to full bodied with a smooth carbonation; sweet, dark malty, minimal bitter finish with a pleasantly warming alcohol management. Pretty quaffable Bock.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly deminishing head. Dark amber colour. Only slightly darker than helles! Nice malty aroma. Light hoppy. Light bitter flavor. Average slightly harsh bitter finish. A little too alcoholic. Oily palate.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, dark amber with a neat, creamy, off-white head. Lightly vinous, caramelish nose. Lovely full-bodied with roasted, malty accents and a touch of caramel. A typical Rostocker bitter hoppy finish. 160206

Bottled. Amber to brown color with an off-white head that disappeares too soon. Light sweet malty aroma with some hoppiness and alcohol. Nice warming flavor with sweet malt and some spicyness. Light fizzy, medium palate. Some metallic notes in the medium bitter finish. (060106)

Bottle. Brown sugar, raisin, metal aroma. Nice chestnut brown colour, small head. Clean taste, not very malty or peppery. Quite nice. 6 3 7 3 14

Bottle, 6.9%. Bready aroma. Clear brown colour, sparkling. Big stable creamy tan head. The flavour is peppery at first, has a good alcohol note. Also good mouthfeel. Then comes some caramelly sweetness, a little too sugary perhaps. But nicely rounded and well-balanced. 6 3 7 3 15

An amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol and caramel, while the flavor is sweet with notes of wood, caramel, and alcohol.

Dark copper coloured. Strong apple aroma. Sweet with unclean malt profile. Tastes more like a cheap malt liquor than a German bock.
