Malzig-süßer Antrunk mit deutlicher Alkoholnote, die noch stärker wird. Proportional nimmt auch die Süße zu, der malzige Ton versiegt, das Bier wirkt dadurch unausgeglichen. Zum Ende hin noch mal würziger und leicht malzig, aber irgendwas fehlt. Es ist die Würze, die das Bier nicht in ie Tiefe gehen lässt. (Bottle 50 cl) Clear, amber golden with a tall, dense and handsome, off-white head. Aroma of malt, a bit of caramel and alcohol. Medium body with a solid and sweet malt base with distinct accents of caramel. The finish is a bit raw in its bitterness with also some alcohol showing. 160207

(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a fluffy, off-white foamy head. Sweet, almost chewy malty, slightly toasty aroma with notes of alcohol and a shy whiff of hops. Sweet flavour, moderately toasted malty taste with notes of honey and an alcoholic background from the beginning, not unpleasant but warming; sweet, malty finish with light herbal hoppy notes.

Bottle: Deep golden to light amber coloured; dark malt, honey and a delicate touch of hops in the aroma; sweetish (malty), also distinctive bitter flavour, medium bodied; sweet-malty, later also bitter finish. A quite well rounded and pleasant Bock..............

Bottle. Surprice. A little better than dunkler Bock from Rostocker. It isnt that much "heller" either.Creamy white excellent mostly lasting head. Light amber colour. Light malty moderate hoppy aroma. Nice bitter flavor. Average good bitter finsih. Creamy palate but a little fizzy.

Bottle. Dark copper colour. Big semi-stable white head. Fruity flavour, hint of smoke. Quite clean flavour with a sweet aftertaste. 5 3 6 3 12
Bottle, 6.9%. Clear copper colour. White head, not so stable. The flavour is slightly caramelly with a mild alcohol note to balance. Not as flavourful as many other Bocks, tastes a bit like a cross between imperial pils and Bock. But not bad. 6 3 6 3 16
