Crowler from Livonia Fine Wine. Pours a clear, deep chestnut color with a finger of beige head that dissipates. Huge malt ball, cinnamon and maple syrup aromas right out the glass. Good kit-kat crunchy wafer notes on the palate with tons more french toast flavors led by maple syrup and cinnamon. Slightly warming finish with nice Backwoods Bastard classic scotch notes with a touch of dryness. Lingering cinnamon and maple on the finish. Not as sweet as you would think and definitely still beer-y. As advertised!
