Pours a clear dark amber color with a beige head. The aroma is malt, caramel, some nut and hops. The flavor follows the nose.

0.33 l bottle from local ’REWE’, best before October 2017. Clear, dark brown with a thin, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of chocolate, caramel and nuts. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty taste of milk chocolate, caramel, toasted nuts and almond, followed by a short, moderately bitter, sweetish finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours clear orange brown colour with a mid-sized good lasting beige head. Aroma of reddish malt, caramel, mild resinous hops. Taste of strong reddish malt, caramel, some sugar, grains, nothing special.

Bottle from Rudat. Smooth and fresh beginning. Red malts, smooth caramel, refreshing with a nice and fresh malty aftertaste. Very dry and light, no alcohol there, the caramel and red malts are round and refreshing, nicely bittered, round and smooth. Nice and sessionable bock with depth and caramelly red-malty character.

Bottle: Clear, ruby-amber coloured, smaller off-white head; mild to moderate dryish dark-malty and fruity (red berries ?) nose with a narrow caramelly background, herbal hops barely detectable; mild to moderate - as welll - bitter-sweet flavour, relatively light bodied for a beer of 7.2 %; slightly lingering sweet fruity and caramelly finish with a increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Nothing wrong with it, just not much more than average german industrial standard...
