330ml bottle [as Rhaner MiniMaxi Bock]. Clear, ruby red glowing, darkest brown colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Dark malty aroma, sweet-ish notes of malt lozenge, a touch of rock sugar, some unspecific dark malty flavours, not really milk chocolate, not really coffee, maybe closest to coffee surrogate. Taste is dark malty with controlled sweetness, hints of malt lozenge, additionally again some unspecific dark malty flavours, not really spicy nor chocolately. Nice and - praiseworthy - not too sweet.

Bottled (from Bier Zwerg, as MiniMaxi Bock 0,33l (hence probably mini). Very deep amber/copper colour with a mediumsized beige foamy longlasting head, that leaves lace as well. Aroma is sweet malts, some raisins, mild alcohol, as well as some mild glue and grass. Flavour is mild toasted malts, some raisins, a bit of alcohol, some malty sweetness as well as some slight coffeeish notes. Really nice coffeeish, roasted and dark dry fruits in the aftertaste. One of the better bocks I’ve had in a long time.

Bottle(as Mini Maxi Bock): Chestnut-amber coloured, not completely clear, almost no head; moderate to solid nose dark malt, molasses and dried fruits; relatively "dry" sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; lingering sweet dark malty finish with a really dry malt-bitter and chocolatey aftertaste. Yes…
