Flasche (50 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin-Wedding. - Goldgelb, blank.

Bottle. A very pale one, almost yellow, and with a small, white head. Nice grassy and piney hoppyness on the nose, leaving the malts in the back. Smooth, thin mouthfeel, quite dry. Pleasant flavor with the hops dominating, without too much bitterness. Could easily have more bitterness, and also a bit more maltyness. Anyway, it’s a quite nice and tasteful one. 111126

Bottle @ Early Winter season 11/12 Part. 3, Ulfborg. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Grassy and grainy. Dry with a slight citrussy hop note. Clean and dry. Medium bodied. Nice. Nov 2025. In the brewery. What a fun re-rate. Grassy clean and Lip smacking noble hop. A lot like Keesmann Herren Pils, just better. Taras Boulba esque vibes. Pinch of citrus. I could drink lots! 6.6-8.3. (4.4) Superior.

10/11/11/12/8/11

Bottle: Hazy, pale greenish-golden coloured, medium-sized stable white foam; moderate noble hoppy nose with deceptive pale malt in the background; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, creamy and soft, light bodied; lingering aromatic hoppy finish with pale-malt and citrus-fruits. Well crafted, superb franconian brew........

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and firm foamy white head, leaving lace. Moderately sweet malty aroma with notes of fresh hay and citric hops. Light-bitter flavour, light bodied with a crispy carbonation. Pale malty, slightly strawy and minimal chalky taste with subtle notes of citrus; pretty dry and moderately bitter finish with aromatic slightly citrus-fruity hops. A bit slim but also quaffable and rounded Pilsener -27.VIII.09-
