From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Ample berries with vanilla, lactose, blackcurrant, red berries, touch of cocoa nibs. Big red berry aroma, candy, 'wijnbal'. Tart and sourish but also pretty sweet. More like a red berry candy cocktail.

No question that it's a purple berry beer. Lots of berries in the aromas and flavors. Slightly more sweet than bitter and tempered with carbonation. Glad I tried it but one's the limit.

Canned, 473 ml. Purple with almost no head. Fruity, intensive berries, vanilla, marshmallows, some cocoa. Sweet with pleasant fruity tartness. Medium bodied. Tasty, but not really my thing.

473ml can at tasting. Poured black curranty red intense color. Red currant and blackberry flavors. Berries and hints of chocolate Slightly tart. So drinkable smoothie.

If you do love all kinds of red berries and like to mix them into a nice fruit rattleshake Well this one is for you mate Deep Purple in a box Fruit on the malt. Well no malt flavor could be detected Just a whole lot of red berries [Can from Vinmonopolet Amfi Borg in Sarpsborg, Norway]
