At their Keller 10/07/2011. Deep amber with a decent, off-white head. Sweetish aroma with some bready malts and hedgerow fruit. Easy drinking, with more malty goodness and a bitter finish. Very quaffable.

From tap at the biergarten. Im Steinkrug. Small white head. Seems dark orange with a small white head. Grassy and malty dense aroma. Bitter and slight herbal. Bitter and dry finish.

Tap @ Wilde Rose. Ceramic mug. . .Large foam. Dry, crisp and hoppy. Malty and bready. Well balanced. Smooth. Dry hoppy end. Very nice.

Minerally nose in the seidel. Fruity start, grassy and flowery hops, country beer minrals, fairly clean though. Medium body, quite moreish.

Ceramic mug @ the hotel. Slightly herbal accent with a light breezy malt note. Has some diacetyl notes on the palate, with light malt. Low bitterness and low hop character makes this a disappointing example. A re-rate @ the keller had less diacetyl and more minerals, bringing the beer out of its shell a bit more. Rating is a split between the hotel score and the keller score.

Draught at the Wilde-Rose Keller: Creamy and lacy white head; moderate grainy-bitter nose with ahayish touch; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, a bit fizzy; corny sweetish-bitter finish. well drinkable, but not overwhelming.....

Draught at Wilde Rose-Keller, Bamberg. Probably brownish amber. Bready nose. Dryish, crisp and lightly roasty. Mildly malty with crisp crackers and salty bitterness.

Draught @ Gasthof Wilde Rose, Bamberg. Hazy amber color with a average good lacing mostly diminishing white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, roasted, and light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Draught. Clear greyish amber colour. Semi-stable head. The flavour has some malt bitterness along with some roasted and smoked malt notes.
