On tap at Ranzani 13. Cloudy golden with large white head. Citrus, some lemon, spicy, yeasty, sweetish. Medium bodied.

Tap at Il Punto Bologna. Some geuze sourness and a huge similiarty to drinking prosecco. Nice nose. Weak finish.

Draft at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours pale yellow with high white foam, fine. Aroma is grain, coriander, some citrus. Body is average with good carbonation. Taste is moderate in sweetness, marked in bitterness and spiciness. Finish is short.

Bottle at home, thanks Daniele. Golden almost clear, white regular foam with good retention. Nose: spicy, canditi, orange zest. Very Belgian. Mouth: high carbo, peppery, spicy, canditi, a bit low in body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Il gusto al naso ritrova l’orzo. L’intensità olfattiva è molto elevata e la persistenza olfattiva è apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma dalle bollicine fini ha una scarsa tenuta e si fa ricordare con un bel pizzo ai bordi del bicchiere. L’aspetto del liquido è limpido. Il perlage è composto da bollicine fini. Il colore è giallo dorato. Il corpo è strutturato. L’amaro è moderato. L’intensità gustativa è elevata e la persistenza gustativa è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevolissimo. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di birra beverina. Il finale è lungo, pulito e dissetante. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul palato finiscono impressioni di miele, crosta di pane, frumento, frutta secca, resina e fiori.
