Bottle from Lyon airport. Thin caramel colour with a short head. Aroma of caramel malt. Flavour is bitter malt, caramel sugar, a little maple wood on the finish.

33cl bottle from Cave de Monaco - Nice. Head is big, tan, average retention. Colour is coppery, light hazy. Aroma is malty, caramel, toast, bit fruity. Taste is medium malty base, toast, caramel, spicy, prominent long lasting bitterness, medium carbonation, ok, enjoyed.

Bottled 750ml. -from Casino Albertville as Original Bitter Ambree. Dark golden/amberish coloured, small off-white head, malty caramel nose. Malty, caramel, light nutty and touch of dried fruits with bitter hoppy finish.
