Light and dark, blissfully united. The advantages of light and dark Ottakringer beer are combined in the G’mischtes to create a balanced, elegant beer. The maroon colour gives an indication of the hint of delicate bitter chocolate. The fine hop aroma of the slightly malty, but not too sweet note of the dark beer plays around the palate and completes this balanced mixed beer.

Big bubbly head, clear dark red to brown colour, lots of caramel, malty and quite dry, just a touch of dried fruits, light but noticable bitterness. Smooth and simple, nice and very easy to drink.

Can from Billa Franzosengraben. Coppery body, not that lasting off-white head. Caramel, creamy fruity notes, interesting aroma. Lean, dryish taste, bit earthy, caramelly. bit tart, some rye bread. I mean, okay, drinkable but chewy as well, but the tartness is a bit weird.

Can. Amber color. Grainy, soft caramelly aroma and flavor with a hint of apple. Thinnish, sticky mouthfeel with a hint of roast. Mediocre.
