Light and dark, blissfully united. The advantages of light and dark Ottakringer beer are combined in the G’mischtes to create a balanced, elegant beer. The maroon colour gives an indication of the hint of delicate bitter chocolate. The fine hop aroma of the slightly malty, but not too sweet note of the dark beer plays around the palate and completes this balanced mixed beer.

Can, 0.50l. Aroma is grassy, caramelly, honeyish, nutty and mild roasty. Pours cloudy amber brown color with large soapy tan-like head, good lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with light to medium sweet caramel and grainy malt, following is syrupy, grassy and faint fruity, mouthfeel is mild spicy, while finish is mild bitter. Light body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Wine gemischt is better...

Can [from Euro Swap 2018-1 thanks to Herrklemann] @ home shared with Dutchdrebus at Anti-Carnavalstasting 2018. Clear amber-ish color, medium to full sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, distant hints of caramel. Taste malts, caramel, light brown malts, lightly bitter. Quite pleasant, probably one of my best beers from this style.
