Light and dark, blissfully united. The advantages of light and dark Ottakringer beer are combined in the G’mischtes to create a balanced, elegant beer. The maroon colour gives an indication of the hint of delicate bitter chocolate. The fine hop aroma of the slightly malty, but not too sweet note of the dark beer plays around the palate and completes this balanced mixed beer.

Can @ anti-carnavalstasting 2018. Amber colour with a large offwhite head. Smells malty, slightly sugary. Tastes sweet, quite malty. Straight to the point but kinda nice. Medium body, nice carbo.

500mml. Can as part of the European Local Swap 3/2017, many thanks to herrklemann for this bottle and style. Tasted on the 14/01/2018 at home. Amber colour with a low white head that ddissapears quickly. Aroma of grains, bread, sugar and light honey. Taste is grainy, caramel and toffee. Slightly sweet and malty finish. Next one please!

Cheers Mat: 500ml can, BB Dec 2017. Drank on 3rd Oct 2017 during the monthly Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting. Clear body, dark mahogany, weak head and thin body depth. I thought it a 'sweet mess', looked and tasted like a poor quality sweet American Amber. Luckily there were five of us to share the brew because 100ml was enough for me.

500ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 17. Courtesy of myself. From trade with Erich. Many thanks! Pours a clear chestnut brown, thinning off-white head. Lightly sweet, nutty caramel aroma. Taste presents itself as more of an amber with a leafy malt character, some toffee, very light bodied.. nice pleasant sweetness, perhaps expected something a little more different, and do envisage that it's not a great example of the style, but it's not offensive.

Poured a dark reddish amber body with a thick, small white head. Dusty, but pleasant sweetish caramel aroma.

Can. Pours clear dark amber. Aroma is strongly malty, dirty, earthy, chalk. Body is light, still sweet, but also watery. An odd malty brew. Watery palate. Drinkable, but meh.
