This golden ale carries notes of passion fruit and honey in the aroma. A suggestion of biscuit is found in the beer’s varied palate. Brewed with our 2-row barley blend, hopped with Nugget and Hallertau, then fermented on our house yeast, Tripel offers up a complex, yet dry finish.

Bottle at Kevin’s Surprise Party. Pours a hazy, orange-gold with a huge, fluffy white head. Strong, phenolic aroma with enticing notes of banana, yeast and clove. Flavor is very sweet but not cloying, with more fruits, wheat and yeast. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and a very smooth texture. Finishes bready and sweet with light bitterness. Delicious. This is a wonderful Tripel.

Fat Cat, West Village pint on tap ($9): Pours a hazy lemon yellow with a nice frothy Belgian head (although my head was not quite as large as it could have been seeing as the bartender decided to up the quantity of beer and minimize the foam). Strong fruity aroma: banana, passionfruit, even some citrus in there. Spicy as well. A portent for the upcoming sweetness and complexity. Upon tasting it, the beer is ever so slightly sweet with some proper hop presence. High alcohol covered by the layers of fruity flavor. As the commercial description boasts, the finish is indeed very long. All in all, this is a very proper tripel. I could probably drink 3 or 4 of these without noticing... (except it would impact my wallet).

one of the best beers ive ever had, the first taste reminded me of their white beer, spices and all, with a little more abv kick to it. cloudy golden color, good fluffy white head, this brewery really knows how to make delicious versions of belgian beers. if i put this next to chimay cinq cents, i would still have to chose this, excellent.

Refigerated big bottle poured into a trappist glass. Pours a little orange with some head that disapears fairly quickly. Nice lacing. The taste is citrus (tone is mostly orange and some passion fruit), floral, and some spice. The best triple I have had.

bottle - Pours cloudy gold with an ample head. It smells of yeast with citrus and bready malt. The flavor is sweet and citrus rich with very apparent yeast and a medium, bubbly body. It’s quite good, but I’m not getting the complexity that others are finding to make it great.
