500ml bottle. Clear dark amber to brown colour with average, thick, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white to beige head. Dark malty aroma with a grainy chocolate touch, dry hoppy overtones. Taste is minimally sweet dark malty with a nuttily touch, dry hoppy counterweight. Decent Doppelbock.

Bottle 0.5l, thanks to Rosenbergh. Colour is reddish copper with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Dark fruits, sweetness and malts.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, courtesy of rosenbergh 201330713) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its headwas medium sized and white. Aroma had malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A decent malty brew.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass also, brownish, nice head. Sharp aroma. Starts really strong and quite alcoholic. Dry-malty. More and more soapy-alcoholic, burning finish. Too unbalanced.

Pours a dark amber/brwon with light head. Aromas of sweet cereal, biscuits, and malt with a little caramel

Bottle 500ml. @ PBF2012.Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, chocolate, brown sugar, light alcohol, light roasted. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottled 500ml (PBF, BB 10/2012)
Deep brown, nutty color, small vanishing off-white head. Raisiny, dark bready malty aroma. Medium-bodied. Raisiny, sweet doppelbock. Low bitterness. Extra carbonation is a bit distrubing.

Bottled@PBF2012. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is mild dark bread, some rye as well as some slight sweet alochol and mild raisins. Flavour is caramel, some slight burnt notes, mild rie as well as some nice herbal notes.

Bottle from Bier Imperium, Vienna. Red brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of dried plums, cherries, caramel, malt. Taste, plums, honey, dark chocolate, roasted malt. dried cherries. Strong alcoholic finish. Good Doppelbock.

Bottled 500ml. -from Bier Imperium, Vienna. Reddish/brown coloured, medium sized pale beige head, caramel and alcohol in the nose. Light roasted malt, caramel and bready with notes of fruits and alcohol. Sweet finish. Simple and pretty ordinary doppelbock.
