500ml bottle. Orange amber colour, shortlived white foam head and sourish, hay oak aroma. Taste is fruity apple, tart & tannic, with an oaky note. Slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry clean finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottled. Clear pale amber. Apple vinegar aroma. Mid sweet with rich flavours of tart apples and brett-like yeast character. Acetic and refreshing with some complexity.

Bottle from Bottle Shop, Canterbury. Clear deepish gold witgh no real head. Really good cider. I had this as an aperatif one evening. The apples were appley, the tannins were tanny and the character was solid. Some residual fruit sweetness. But just a glorious drinkable cider. Wish they could all be like this one.

Bottle from Brewer’s Droop, Bristol. Lively pour with plenty of effervescence. Clear gold in colour. Sweet apple aroma with some balancing tartness. Yeasty fruit flavours, a hint of toffee sweetness and plenty of dryness in the finish. Good stuff.
