Ultra Lager

It's that time of the year for brewers to start thinking about shrinking waistlines. (At least this one) We set out to do the lowest calorie and carbohydrate beer we possibly could. Using a very fancy/premium/ultra quality wild rice. This specific rice has a beautiful blueberry character. Session light lagers don't have to be bland. The beer smells like a classic Czech lager and tastes like a playful bowl of trix cereal or blueberry muffins. Callista hops are used extremely restrained and mostly tossed into the whirlpool. To match a light citrus and nobel spice to match the blueberry.
