Santa knows who’s been naughty and who’s been nice. This is one seriously naughty but nice beer.

Santa’s Little Helper, our Imperial Stout, starts with an emphasis on dark cocoa and roasted coffee aromatics. The finish lends hints of sweet crystal malt, warming tones of alcohol and a touch of hops, making a perfect accompaniment to leftover fruit cake and sugar cookies.

Pitch black color with tan head. Roaste malts, coffee and chocolate in aroma. Tastes pretty much the same. Nice balance. Easy to drink yet very tasty.

--- Beer merged from original tick of Santas Little Helper on 18 May 2018 at 09:15 - Score: 8

Bastante buena.

Bottle split on the patio of the hotel, San Diego, thanks to GT2 for this one 14/11/14. Black with a big dirty tan head that retains well - a good looker! Nose is spice, bitter roast, chocolate, leather, liqourice, light charr. Taste comprises chocolate maltesers, hint of plastic, light spice, molasses, dark fruit rinds. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop presence in the background. Ok impy.

From bottle at DSJT at Cardinal 09.11.14. Black. Persistent brown head. Aroma of dark berries, dark chocolate and pine. Similar taste, with long, bitter aftertaste with liquorice and pine shoots.

Tasty imperial stout, good example of the style. Has notes of chocolate, roasted malt, candi and some mild hopping,
