A little disappointing considering the brewery. Some bourbon, and lots of coffee. Roast, some dark chocolate. Pours black with good head and lacing. Bitter finish. Tap at Snally.

Pours black into an English pint. Mocha head with excellent retention recedes to coat surface. Chocolate espresso aromas. Dry and thin with sweet milk chocolate and espresso front to back.

500 ml bottle. Opaque brown color topped by a large rocky tan head. Rich mocha malt nose. Roasted malt flavor is mildly complex. Notes of cocoa, wood and coffee. Soft, silky mouthfeel. A hint of coffee, smoke and pine in finish. Excellent balance and flavor. Well done.
