This limited-edition winter brew will make its debut in October, but this winter celebration ale is worth the wait. Malted barley and chocolate tones define the traditional style, while the robust aroma and long, mellow finish will make this the perfect companion for your holiday adventures.

Pours a deep amber brown. It smells of toasted caramel malt with notes of nuts and dark fruit. The flavor is sweet but not overly so with robust caramel and bready malts, nuttiness, and a bit of hops bitterness. Very nice.

Blik gedeeld door Roelzie, geprobeerd met Meindert, Romy en Lieke. Het is een roodbruin bier met een wit schuim. Het heeft een moutige wat caramel achtige geur. De smaak is vol, rozijnen en caramel.

Nice doppelbock, full of caramel, cocoa, toasted bread, and apple, with undertones of brown sugar and date, finished off by a mild floral bitterness and a slight boozy warmth. No complaints here.

On tap at Einstk Bar - Reykjavik, pours deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma is deep, with some gentle winter spices, toasted caramel, and bready malt. Flavour is robust, with lots of caramel, treacle toffee, and bready malt, gently accentuated by subtle winter spices. Treacly, malty, yet not too sweet. Well-made.
