This limited-edition winter brew will make its debut in October, but this winter celebration ale is worth the wait. Malted barley and chocolate tones define the traditional style, while the robust aroma and long, mellow finish will make this the perfect companion for your holiday adventures.

0.33 bottle. Medium brown color, light head, neutral caramel aroma. Flavor is super caramel sweet, lightly hopped, a bit sugar-heavy with light roast aromas of toasted bread & coffee. Missing some complexity.

13.03.2015, 0,33l bottle sampled @ Bergen International Whisky & Beer Festival:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry, nuts, caramel malts, hay, dried grain, weeds, paper, burnt caramel, sugar. Taste is slightly sour-ish mineraly, weeds, hay, nuts, minerals, bark, burnt caramel, alcohol, harsh grass. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.

330 ml bottle. Pours with an opaque deep brown color and a nice white head. Nose is malty, cereal, bready, molassee. Taste is sweet, dired fruits and caramel, once again molasse with a nice dry finish.
