Can (8/15/22) pour from The Beer Store. It's a cloudy light brown-dark yellow with tons of sparkle, a few white floaties, finger-width white foamy head with excellent retention and fair lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, grapefruit, white grape, tangerine. Taste follows aroma with grape higher in the mix and late biscuit. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and sweet finish as taste. Overall, good strength of aroma and taste with decent complexity. Feels a little thin for a Double.

Pours hazy deep gold into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving soapy spiders. Pineapple and mango aromas. Medium bodied with overripe tropical fruit skin and lemon joy upfront turning to dirty peel in the lasting finish.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 7/18/2019. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Mild increasing warmth of 8% after the finish. Overall this is an excellent DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Nicely soft feel, and not aggressive. Awesome Simcoe, Mosaic and Galaxy profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized bready malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Not overly sweet/heavy for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive West coast style example.

Can from Candia Rd Hazy dark golden in color with a rich frothy white head that persists. Earthy citrus and tropical fruitiness backed up by sweet bready maltiness.

On tap at Schilling Beer Co, pours a hazy golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma is fairly subtle for a IIPA, with fresh piney hops and a smooth base of biscuity malt. Flavour has piney hops and unfortunately more than a trace of diacetyl that ends up ruining this. Needs cleaning up.

Looks like orange juice. Smells like orange juice. Tastes like a tangerine and orange combo. Note: these new england IPAs all taste the same. No sense in trying to extract anything from them beyond OJ).
