Huge waves of grass, pine and citrus coat the palate as the Simcoe, Mosaic and Galaxy hops do their work.

Draught at the brewery, 3/23 and 6/22/18.
Moderately hazy, brass-golden with a white head that sits at cover.
Malt, spice, yeast. Maybe a bit of light bile-like character? I assume it's just heavy yeast in suspension and various interactions with the hops. Some strong, bready character from the malt and lightly twangy hop, contributes to the slight off character. Something odd, anyways, though a lot of good fruity, juicy, pine-accented hop character, as well. The recent draught was much cleaner, though still very yeast-forward. Whatever yeast they're using is very prominent and it still feels like it could use more conditioning.
In the mouth it's decidedly spicy with chinook/cascade (or really any PNW hop)-like pepper, orange rind and pine. It's enjoyable though, mostly on account of the soft, malty texture, light sweetness and lack of resin. Fresh, earthy hop lingers. Mosaic doesn't impart any scallion and there is ample spice-like character from the Galaxy. Not boozy, though more bitter than I'd expect with lots of pine character, spice and lingering Galaxy. Kind of a WC/NE IIPA hybrid.

6 oz. draft at Schilling. Hazy golden appearance. Aroma is tropical mango, grassy, and maybe resin. Grapefruit and resin in the finish. At 8 % no booze. Another well made ale and for the newer American Resilience, nice!
