Reviewed from notes.
Can to snifter.
Appearance: pours like motor oil and was black in the glass with a thin cap of a tan foamy head which dissipated and barely left any lace
Aroma: sweet cacao nibs, vanilla bean sweetness, good roasty coffee quality
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to lightly roasty quality, finishes chocolatey to subtle roasty tone
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper; great smoothness; very little roasty assertiveness
Overall: pretty nicely done pastry impy stout very worthy of returning to.
