Aromas are citrus, resin, mint and a hint of MJ. Flavors are simmer to nose and leans just slightly sweet with enough bitter and a bit soft carbonation. Satisfying.

1 pint can. A hazy golden/orange/yellow coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Hoppy, grapefruit, orange, pine, tropical fruit taste and aroma. Another excellent rich, sweetish DIPA from Other Half which went down way too easily.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 13 Aug 2025) Hazy yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit, lemon peel and pineapple. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, lemon, pineapple, peaches, white bread, herbs, rosemary and a generous citric/herbal bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Wow! Rich, fruity, hoppy, juicy. Still in good balance. Great beer!

473ml can. Hazy, orange golden colour with average, frothy, slowly diminishing, moderately lacing, white head. Tropical fruity, minimally citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, wheaty and oaty malty background, notes of mango, passion fruit, guava, some mandarine. Taste is tropical fruity and slightly citrusy fruity hoppy, sweet-ish, wheaty and oaty malty basis, notes of mango, passion fruit, some guava, mandarine, orange, some zesty, orange peel bitterness, a sugary touch; slightly bitter, minimally alcoholic finish.
Slightly oily, mainly dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, slightly greasy, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Well balanced, fruity, some flattering sweetness, dangerously drinkable - pretty good.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Fluffy pale malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. The hop profile is a light but well considered blend of mild cooling pine, mellow savoury skunk, light juicy citrus and stone fruits. A modest bitterness creeping in on the light and semi dry finish. A pleasant affair and I am glad to finally catch up with this well established OT dipa. For me OT are no longer the 'must have' brewery. Their standards haven't gone down but near everyone else has gone up. Also, OT seems to have limited capability to introduce new hop varietals in to the mix so, end up tasting more trad than radical to me, these days! All that said, Mylar Bags is defo a classic.
