This traditional German style ale was fermented cool like a lager and then spent additional time cold conditioning in one of our horizontal lagering tanks to achieve optimal smoothness and drinkability.
The finest German grains provide the malt backbone of this beer and lend their delicate grainy, beady, malty, subtly sweet flavors that are quickly met and balanced by gentle, noble hop bitterness, ending with a dry, crisp finish.
We get notes of freshly baked bread, honeysuckle flower, pear, grassy meadow, fresh linen, a touch of grainy malt sweetness, and herbal, floral, woodsy hops.

Draft at the brewery, 7/9/21. Mostly clear, bright golden. Thick white head. Strong lace. Bread, grain. Bright earth, grass. Hits the spot outside on a hot day. Tasty.
