The elegant beer for connoisseurs who love a light, hoppy bitterness and a refined dry taste. Finest Saphir hops provide the typical lemony aroma and gently kiln-dried malt gives the beer its light color. Lean and vibrant - a first-class Pilsner beer.

Pale yellow color. The flavor on this matches the aroma/appearance. Dry flavor throughout, light and airy and good.

Bottle. Pours light yellow-gold with a medium white head that lasts well and has decent lacing. Aroma of grain, malt, slight lemon/citrus. Flavor is classic pilsner, with grain and lemony zing, bitterness coming on late and lingering to the aftertaste. Perhaps a little over carbonated in the mouth, but otherwise fairly full bodied. Almost the definition of the average beer in my mind.

Can. Can’t judge appearance, since it’s in a can. Hard to judge aroma, since the opening in the can is so small. But it tastes like shit, so I guess the aroma and the taste don’t matter so much.

Bottle @ friends house. Pale yellow colour, average head. Smells malts and grains. Tastes okay. Pretty much a regular pilsener. Good carbo, thin body.

On tap. Pours with clear yellow body with a large white head. Aromas are bready, floral, lightly grainy and a touch metallic. Clean yeast wise. Flavors are floral, flowery hop character. Dry, medium bitterness, light sulfur. Lingering bitterness. Lively bubbles, dry.

An average looking and average tasting pilsener that falls on the sweet side. Finish has an almost fruity sweetness.

Bottle consumed at the World Travel Market, Excel, London. A yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Malty, vaguely hoppy aroma. Tastes malty, hoppy, crisp. Rather thin pilsener but I did manage to finish it. Better than expected.

Tap at Stiegl Innsbruck. Clear, pale gold with a tall head. Nicely malty nose with biscuits and herbal hops. Hoppy, clean, bitter flavor with less malt presence than expected. Crisp and dry. Quite nicely bitter. A solid pils. Much nicer than previous experiences with the bottled version.
