Lähtivätpä eräänä päivänä Pappa, Tuittu ja Ippa retkelle. Kohteeksi otettiin humalasalkoja humiseva pellonpiennar. Pappaa nauratti Ipan katkeruus; mitäpä sitä nyt humaloiden määrästä katkeroitumaan. Mutta Tuittu ymmärsi. Ipan mieli vaan on välillä katkera. Harkitun hillittömästi humaloitu, suodattamaton pintahiivaolut. www.viini-pihamaa.fi

Bottled (Pieni Olutpuoti Humala, Pori). Hazy yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is buttery, some herbal and mild grassy and grainy tones. Flavour is fruity, some earthy, mild infection tones. Tartish sour aftertaste. Not in good condition.

ABV: 5.4%. Clear medium yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, sharp bitter, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20210923]

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy golden, coarse brief head. Fruity, piney nose with mirabelles and yeast. Dry with light body and clean mouthfeel. Tart apricots, mirabelles and minerals. Piney bitter finish.

Smell of earth, some malt. Pale golden colour, massive white head. Aroma of earth, malt, some caramel malt. Mildly bitter, dry palate. Flat carbon.

Bottled 330ml (Humala, BB 10/2021) Golden-amber colour, medium-sized off white head and lace. Aroma has some flowery hops and some butterscotch notes which really are not so disturbing. Light-bodied. Pale malts, nicely bitter with flowery hops with long lingering bitterness. Nice English-style ale. Must be the best beer from Pihamaa what I've had.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Nivala. BBE 28.02.2017. Colour is cloudy golden with small white head: Aromas and flavors: Fruits, citrus, some hops, tartness and malts. Very citric but bad drinkability.
