Miners Bay was lovingly termed 'Little Hell' by the miners during the 1858 Fraser Canyon Gold rush that brought up to 30 000 hopeful Californian miners to the region. As a paddle wheeler stop over between Victoria and the Fraser River, Miners Bay became a ROUGH boom town AND sported the only liquor outlet and only Goal (Jail) in the Southern Gulf Islands at the time. This Belgium Triple styled Strong Ale has notes of apricot and a rich malty finish. Available in 330ml and 750ml Bottle Conditioned bottles.

Really nice foam on a muddy orange body, plenty of visible carbonation. Sweet grain aroma, yeast and honey notes. Taste is nice yeast funk, chewy grain and coriander, ends sharp and modestly dry. Nice sign of the alcohol, and not bad at all.

330mL bottle, pours an opaque diarrhea orangey brown with a small white head. Aroma is very yeasty, with lots of banana, clove, and yeast soup. Flavour is ver yeasty, with lots of banana, yeast and clove. Yeast soup and just totally uncoordinated. Not good.
