Bottle (purchased at the brewery) Deep amber coloured, small off-white foamy, stable layer; quite distinctive smoked ham and charcoal in the nose, caramelly sweet-malt, too with a vinous tinge; quite full bodied, sweet (malty), slightly bitter (smoked) flavour; sweetish, almost fruity, smoked finish, followed by a drier, bitter aftertaste. A pleasant, rich and tasty brew !
