This wheat doppelbock presents itself in the glass with a light caramel color and a creamy head. It offers aromas of plum, berry, and banana. The taste is malty and slightly sweet. Regional organic hops lend this wheat doppelbock a delicate bitterness.

Bottle purchased from REWE, Mainburg. I had this Saturday 21st March 2020 at home Attenkirchen, listening to the Kostas music choice and cooking Tiropita (Greek Cheese Pie) and Ultimate Chicken Shwarmas. We have Kostas with us. Pours amber with a light haze, a little fruity banana on the nose, soft carbonation. Tangy with a ripe boozy banana nose. It's quite good.

Swing top bottle. Amber color, hazy. Tangerine and floral notes in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with pineapple and tangerine. Toffee. Peach. The alcohol is well hidden by the sweetness and the overripe fruit.

Geruch etwas Most, etwas Sekt.

500ml swing-top bottle kindly shared by Finn. Filmy layer, next to clear amber coloured body, clingy lacing. sweet aroma of apricot and banana. rather sweet flavours of jam, banana and ripe fruits. Malt-fruity sweetness to the ending. Okay in smaller amounts, too sweet in the long run. (Session in Tromsø with lmojoh, Finn and djoeye 06.05.2019).

Filp-top bottle 500ml (Alko Pori Keskusta)
Deep hazy amber color, small white head, some lace. Heavy nose has overriped banana, banana cake and alcohol. Medium-bodied. Unlike the aroma, flavour is not so heavy (or glueish). Overriped banana dominates, malty but easier palate than expected. Anyhow overall quite restless and below the German weizenbock classics.
