Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Höss Black Bock ].Clear dark black brown colour with a large to huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, roasted, ash, tar, dark malt, light soy sauce - sweet soy sauce. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, roasted, ash, dark malt, sweet soy sauce, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (bottle, 33cl) Stout-like appearance: dark brown, almost black coloured hue with a brown and thick foamy head. Earthy, mildly roasted malty aroma with notes of dark chocolate, mocha, leaves and mildly herbal and minty hops. Moderately sweet and mildly roasty bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Earthy and slightly roasted malt character with notes of chocolate, subtle fruity notes of dark berries, leading into a mildly roast-malty, leafy and slightly chocolatey finish with muted alcoholic notes.
