Cask pint in the Ryde (IoW) Wetherspoons on 13th March 2017. Deep golden/amber body, white head. Malty brew from start to finish, caramel and other malty molasses type aromas and flavours (toffee mostly alongside the caramel): yet not too sweet, the hops doing a fairly good balancing act to keep everything calm and happy. Liked it.

Fra håndpumpe på The Mossy Well, Muswell Hill (London): klar rødlig kobber med kort skum. Maltdrevet aroma og smak med forsiktig bitterhet - litt gress og urter. Balansert men uinteressant.

Cask at Swan Inn, Farnborough. 07/08/16. Not a very strong aroma, sweet, sugary. Deep amber. Really nice thick white head. Smooth mouthfeel. A medium bitterness then kicks in and flows through to the aftertaste. Grapefruit and caramel. A good pint.

Bottle on holiday in Lyme Regis. Clear amber beer, good white head. Palate is light and fairly dry. Good fine carbonation. Semi sweet malts, thin, some caramel, mildly tangy. Little dried fruits. Dry finish. A light sweetish creamy linger. Okay.

Cask at Back of Beyond, Reading. Deep amber with a small off-white head. Caramel and butterscotch and too much diacetyl. A little fruitiness and a decent earthy bitterness doesn?t make up for the rest. Not great.
