Bottle picked up at Wareham off licence, Wareham, Dorset, 30-08-08 and consumed later that evening. Pours copper in colour with a white head, touch on the med-high carbonation side. Bitter sweet at the front of the mouth with a nice fruity tang and a furry dryness.Iโ€™m really enjoying my bitters at the moment and whilst this isnโ€™t amongst the best its still very nice.

Cask-conditioned at the Cross Hands, Fishponds, Bristol 26/5/08. Reddish amber with a slight off-white head. Aroma had plenty of caramel and crystallised fruit with some earthy hops. Flavour started slightly syrupy before grassy hops kicked in with a long, bitter finish. Good all round.
