Nature is full of great collaborations. Take plants and pollinators for example - a symbiotic relationship that gives us fruits, vegetables and of course, honey. Although Stone and Deschutes have origins on near-opposite ends of the West Coast, our backyards are brought together in this hazy IPA brewed with equal parts Oregon blackberry honey and California orange blossom honey. A craft beer crosspollination, now available across the nation. Ain’t that sweet?

Hazy golden beer, thick white head. Sweet citrus aroma, a little pine. Flavour has lemon, stone fruit, grassy hop, honey of course. A bit of a floral quality in the finish, which is sharp and bittersweet. Nicely balanced, very punchy and really tasty.

A curious name, decent premise and it is from Stone. 16 oz can from the nearest HEB supermarket, pulling the tab and making the pour. I detect a nice yellow-orange body accompanied by a full head of totally white foam that settles begrudgingly. I can appreciate the nose, orange, maybe even tangerine, bread and hops. the taste mostly reflects the scent, tangerine certainly, a bit of pine, cereal and, yes, honey. A nicely full sensation. Not bad, I remain a West Coast kind of guy.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours slightly hazy amber with stable, creamy off-white head. Clear aroma of fruit, citrus and yeast, with touches of honey. Intensely bitter flavour of hops and grass, with notes of fruit and touches of honey, malt and citrus. Lingering bitter and estery aftertaste with citirc hints. Decent.

Can picked up from Craftbeer webshop Parchim, Germany and consumed at home Sunday 6th February 2022 after hike around Wörthsee today. We had Zarzuela for tea tonight. Tropical notes, with some mango and pineapple in particular showing. Similar in the flavour department, with the addition of light citrus touches and honey, juicy but with an undercurrent of bitter slightly unripe orange. It's pretty decent.

Can from Geers. Clear golden, small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of pine, orange peel, ripe mango, honey, jasmin, biscuit. Taste has sweetish mango, tangerine & pineapple; bitter core of pine and grapefruit peel supported by honeyish and biscuity maltiness. Piney, resinous hoppy finish, perfumey with lingering tangerine peel. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. It's nice how the honey adds something flowery instead of actual sweetness. Apart from that, wouldn't call it a Hazy.

Quite bitter, slightly tropical, some onion, piney hops, honey, firm bitterness, and some off plastic flavors

Can from Costco. Hazy golden pour, large white head and lots of lacing. Nose is floral and sweet, pretty intense. Tastes lightly sweet and fruity with deep floral hops. The level of sweetness from the honey is just right. Moderately bitter and well balanced.
