Das waldhonigfarbene dunkle Kellerbier ist leicht opal und schmeichelt der Nase mit Aromen, die an Trockenfrüchte wie Feige, Dattel und Pflaume erinnern. Auf dem kastanienbraunen, waldhonigfarbenen Bier mit feinen Röstaromen thront die feinporige und stabile Schaumkrone. Nach dem ersten Schluck kann man feststellen, dass dieser Schaum eine sehr schöne Glashaftung aufweist.
Im Antrunk werden Zunge und Gaumen durch eine weiche, angenehm malzaromatische Note und einer ausgezeichneten Vollmundigkeit verwöhnt. Zum kräftigen Körper kommt eine angenehme Rezenz. Man(n)/Frau freut sich auf den nächsten Schluck. Durch die Verwendung des Aromahopfens aus Tettnang und edler Malzsorten ist das Gold Ochsen Kellerbier DUNKEL mit einer dezenten Hopfenbittere ausgewogen und harmonisch ausklingend.

Bottle picked up from a Getrankemarkt in Günzburg and consumed at home Friday 3rd October 2025 listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music and cooking Pumpkin Gnocchi with Peas in a Creamy Tarragon Sauce. Pours dark brown, murky with an off white/light beige head. Caramel on the nose and also in the mouth, there's a dark fruity tang also. Good Dunkel but also a bit straightforward and not offering up anything out of the ordinary.

Buying this bottle during the last "winter". Drinking this generous beverage, at home, yesterday and tired after the job. Not so common to see dark keller beer, really smooth, malty, flavour of toffee, a bit fruity, yeasty, classical bitterness, 11.08.23, at Epalinges

Trübes Kastanienbraune; gemischtporige, kompakte und stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase würzig, dunkelmalzig, Karamell, leicht brotig, etwas dunkle Beerenaromatik. Im Geschmack wunderbar aromatisch, sehr viel Malz, Blockmalz, Karamell, Kakao, mittlerer Körper, präsente aber nicht dominante Süße, milde Hopfenbittere. Insgesamt überzeugend.

Draft @ Gaststätte Seybold, Nersingen. Dark Brown with a big white/beige head. Aroma and taste of malts, liquorice, caramel, dried fruits, some chocolate and a little bit of smoke. Just a little bit sweet. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Very nice. Well we liked it so much that I ran to fetch a fourpack from the Rewe across the street.

# 3604; 5/2023. Malty, yeasty, slightly fruity and woody aroma. Unclear brown body; persistent lacing tany head. Wood, dried fruits, malty, cola, slightly yeasty and earthy. Good unfiltered bavarian dunkel. 0,5 l, bottle, supermarket, Böbingen an der Rems (Swabia, Germany).

Fles 50cl thuis gedeeld. Caramel, zoet, wat melkchocolade, donker fruit, wat noot, wat droog. Redelijke balans. (26-12-2019).
