Das waldhonigfarbene dunkle Kellerbier ist leicht opal und schmeichelt der Nase mit Aromen, die an Trockenfrüchte wie Feige, Dattel und Pflaume erinnern. Auf dem kastanienbraunen, waldhonigfarbenen Bier mit feinen Röstaromen thront die feinporige und stabile Schaumkrone. Nach dem ersten Schluck kann man feststellen, dass dieser Schaum eine sehr schöne Glashaftung aufweist.
Im Antrunk werden Zunge und Gaumen durch eine weiche, angenehm malzaromatische Note und einer ausgezeichneten Vollmundigkeit verwöhnt. Zum kräftigen Körper kommt eine angenehme Rezenz. Man(n)/Frau freut sich auf den nächsten Schluck. Durch die Verwendung des Aromahopfens aus Tettnang und edler Malzsorten ist das Gold Ochsen Kellerbier DUNKEL mit einer dezenten Hopfenbittere ausgewogen und harmonisch ausklingend.

Bottle. Pours hazy copper brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast,mwith notes of hops. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt,mwith roasty and estery notes and bitter, hoppy touches. Roasty and caramellish aftertaste with estery notes. Reasonable for the style.

Bottle, 5.3%. Quite malty aroma. Hazy brown colour. Small frothy whitish head. The flavour is quite malty. Clean and roasted with a citric finish to balance. Good mouthfeel. A little sweet, but not too much. Low bitterness.

(bottle) Hazy, chestnut-brown colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Initially quite sulfuric aroma with mildly toasted malt, bread, caramel and traces of herbal hops. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Doughy malty, slightly toasty taste with hints of caramel; medium-dry toast-malty and delicately hop bitter finish. 20.VI.16

Bottle. Dark amber-brown color with tan head. Aroma is sulphuric, burnt breadcrust. Taste is rusty nail, dead yeasts. Silky mouthfeel. Not all that good.

Hazy brown with little beige head. Aroma is dried figs, a little sulfur and rusty nails. Taste is carbonation induced sourness some uncanny sweetness and booze. Velvety mouthfeel, not at all watery, more of the sweetness in the finish. Overall actually not that great.

Bottle. Hazy, dark chestnut, offwhite lace. Sweet honey, fishy, stinky, herbal, medium light body, soft low carbonation. Quick nutty finish. Meh.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes rötlichbraunes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, leicht schokoladig, Karamell. Geschmack röstmalzig, Karamell, leicht schokoladig, gering würzig.

Flasche vom Getränkeabholmarkt Grabsch, Berlin-Lichterfelde (Juli 2013). - Braunrot, trüb. Die in der Nase angedeuteten interessanten Noten von Röstmalz, Bitterschokolade und Rumtopf sind leider recht zurückhaltend und treten hinter einer „süffigen“ Malzsüße zurück. Dünnes Mundgefühl, blaß bitterer Abgang mit schwachem Anklang von Tettnanger Aromahopfen. - Hier hätten die Brauer ruhig etwas mutiger sein können. Aber das altmodische Etikett gefällt mir!
